TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.

Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and here the bonus terms, is at here TradeTheDay.
